September 1962 – Organized as Greene County Charities. Completed the first fundraising campaign with first allocations being made in 1963.
Summer 1967 – Changed name to Greene County Community Fund.
September 2012 – Celebrated the 50th birthday of GCCF.
April 2014 - Began publishing "GCCF Times" and launched agency website gccfar.com.
June 2014, 2015, & 2016 - Named "Favorite Charity" by Premiere Magazine Readers.
April 2015 - Recipient of the Friends of 4-H Award by Greene County 4-H Program.

The Greene County Community Fund is a Non-Profit 501 c(3) organization which solicits funds to support Greene County agencies with as much financial assistance as possible from community donations. Donations from businesses, industries and individuals allows the agencies supported by the Greene County Community Fund to focus on what they do best, helping people. At the Greene County Community Fund, we are devoted to helping people through the funds that we raise and distribute.
